Pearl of the Orient

With its fantastic nightlife & colourful lights,
Like a star that continues to shine in its
radiance & delight

With its deep & clear blue harbour,
Like the colour of sapphires & skies in Spain

With its busy & crowded streets,
Like a bumble bee in the sweet season of Spring

With its numerous people,
Like a million busy ants in the month of August

What is it? It is Hong Kong -
Our Home!

Hong Kong, My Home

In Hong Kong, the lights shine bright
Oh! What a pretty sight

The cars whiz by
Like they could fly

The magnificent sea
Which always enchants me

The delicious food
Puts you in a good mood

That's why when tourists come to Hong Kong,
They always stay long!

Hong Kong Our Home
Hong Kong is a busy place,
People running here and there,
Traffic jams occur now and then,
Tall buildings everywhere
Once in Hong Kong, you will find
Many welcoming hands,
To show you around Ocean Park,
Or maybe Disneyland!
As for food you can choose
From a great variety,
For tea you might have English Scones,
For dinner, Chinese cuisine
Hong Kong has some lovely sites,
If through them you may roam
It's quite crowded, but then again,
Hong Kong is our home

Hong Kong

Hong Kong is full of tourists,
Everywhere you go,
Tourists of all countries,
Taking photos, watching shows

Tourists shopping all around,
Spending all their time,
Never stopping till they have
Spent all their dimes

Hong Kong is full of buildings,
Everywhere you look,
Buildings of all kinds,
You wouldn't see them in books

Buildings always growing,
Usually new and tall,
Old buildings going down,
Growing more are shopping malls

Hong Kong is full of computers,
In schools, houses and offices,
Storing high-tech information,
Used for doing business

Computers are found everywhere,
Inviting millennium bugs
Becoming more and more expensive,
Taking all our bucks

Hong Kong

It is the harbour, it is so sweet, Over the nullah where the concrete is thick, Next is the peak, so delightful and posh, Ghosts just love it when the mist sets in thick K is for Kai Tak, the airport we lost, Order a new one, said the people at once, No one will count how much it will cost, Get out the concrete and let the mist pass
