In May 2018, all Form 1 and Form 2 students had an experience of carrying out scientific investigative projects in groups.

In Form 1: Building a submarine
Students made use of the knowledge of mass, volume, pressure and density to design a submarine. Each group of students prepared a water bottle. Students were provided with gas syringes, long rubber tubing, balloons, weights, water proof adhesive tapes and other instruments. Finally they all succeeded to design a submarine which can sink and float in a large plastic box with water.

In Form 2: Making an LED greeting card
Students were asked to design an illuminated greetings card. It could be for a birthday or for a special event such as Christmas, Easter or New Year. They were provided LED lights, button batteries, switches and copper sticky tape to make a circuit on paper. Finally they designed the front of the card.
