St. Paul’s Convent School proudly commemorated its 170th Anniversary with a distinguished Open Day held from July 4 to 6, 2025. Welcoming over 17,000 visitors, this significant event marked the culmination of a year-long series of celebrations that united the Paulinian community—including students, alumni, staff, parents, and friends—in gratitude and a renewed commitment to upholding the enduring spirit and core values of the school.
Throughout the anniversary year, numerous notable events were held, including the launch of the iconic St. Paul’s tram, the Jubilee Opening Mass, a prestigious Gala Dinner, a Family Fun Day, an Art Exhibition, and an Anniversary Retreat. These occasions fostered fellowship and strengthened the sense of community throughout the school. The Open Day transformed the campus into a vibrant, interactive environment featuring themed floors with innovative exhibits, educational activities, and cultural performances. Over 50 venues, including classrooms and special rooms, showcased current educational trends, students’ learning experiences, learning outcomes, achievements, and a variety of notable accomplishments.

Highlights of the celebrations included traditional Cantonese opera performances, friendly volleyball matches, university information booths, and comprehensive admission talks—underscoring the school’s commitment to holistic education that nurtures both academic talents and essential core values.

At the Closing Ceremony, Sr. Margaret Wong, School Principal and Supervisor, conveyed sincere appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the celebrations, including faculty, parents, alumni, teaching staff, students, and the 170th Anniversary Organizing Committee. She encouraged reflection on the abundant blessings experienced throughout the year. Emphasizing the anniversary theme, “Innovating Today, Transforming Tomorrow,” Sr. Margaret reaffirmed the collective responsibility of the Paulinian community to shape a future grounded in hope, love, and peace. She further highlighted the school’s “7Cs” (Charity, Conscience, Confidence, Courage, Creativity, Competence, and Commitment)—which empower students to navigate the complexities of modern life while remaining firmly rooted in their faith.
